This exceptional safari departs from Johannesburg every Saturday.

SATURDAY : We collect you from your home/hotel/O R Tambo airport and drive along the Highveld grasslands to Dullstroom, quaint tourist town, where we have a lunch stop(own expense). After check-in at Tremisana Game Lodge, we board the rugged Landcruiser and go on a Sunset Game Drive. Enjoy an open-air BBQ at the famous Marula Boma. Dinner and overnight at Tremisana.

SUNDAY : An armed ranger conducts a Bush Walk along the mighty Olifants River. This has proved to be a highlight that affords you the opportunity to investigate wildlife spoor and scats not readily seen from a vehicle. Return to Tremisana for Brunch. After lunch and siesta, we go on a 4h Sundowner Game Drive. Dinner and overnight at Tremisana .

MONDAY : After breakfast, board the Open Sided Vehicle and go on a full day safari in Kruger Park proper. Lunch(own expense) at Satara Camp. Return in the late evening to Tremisana for dinner and overnight.

TUESDAY : Early morning Sunrise Game Drive. After breakfast, drive from Tremisana to Hluhluwe in Northern Kwa-Zulu Natal. Enjoy some excellent scenic drives. Dinner and overnight at the newly refurbished Pumusa Bush Camp, built in a luxuriant-vegetated Sand Forest.

WEDNESDAY : After breakfast, drive to nearby Hluhluwe Game Reserve for a full day of game viewing. We are practically guaranteed to see Rhino, that have not been dehorned, in Hluhluwe and neighbouring iMfolozi Game Reserve. These reserves are the oldest in SA (proclaimed in 1898) and were responsible for saving the White Rhino from extinction. Lunch will be enjoyed at an open picnic spot or hide. Dinner and overnight at Pumusa.

THURSDAY : After breakfast, drive to world-famous St Lucia. Visit the iSimangaliso Wetland Park that was listed in 1999 as SA’s very first World Heritage Site. It contains 3 major lake systems, 8 interlinking ecosystems, 700 year old fishing traditions, most of SA’s swamp forests and Africa’s largest estuarine system ! Drive to Cape Vidal where there is time for a swim/snorkel in the warm Indian Ocean. Lunch at an open picnic spot. Return to St Lucia to explore this amazing subtropical village. Cruise the estuary in search of hippo, crocodile and many other wildlife species. Dinner and overnight at Pumusa.
