Katekani Introduction
On a secluded piece of prime bushveld, bordering with the Big Five Kapama Game Reserve, KATEKANI TENTED LODGE is open to the upmarket Wildside Africa development.
It comprises of eight beautifully appointed Tented Chalets. Each chalet has a thatched roof and is elevated so as to allow for spectacular views of the bushveld. There is a private splash pool on each deck and the rustic ambience is enhanced by liberal use of rocks and tree trunks inside the chalets. The units are air conditioned and boast inside and outside showers. Sliding aluminium doors and windowed canvas panels blend perfectly to make this a unique state-of-the-art accommodation concept.
A modern Lapa with cosy inviting bar adds to the relaxed atmosphere and the BBQ area is conveniently located adjacent to the Lapa.
General game is encountered on the property and the birdlife is prolific. At night the eerie whoops of hyena mingle with the deep-throated roars of the lions.
