Scenic highlights of Blyde River Canyon including a stop at the Three Rondawels
PROGRAMME
DAY ONE : Johannesburg Hotel/Hostel or O.R. Tambo Airport pickup and drive to Tremisana Game Lodge where you have time to have a swim or quick rest in your airconditioned chalet. Board the open Landcruiser for an exciting Sunset Drive. After dark, use spotlights to locate nocturnal animals. Dinner will be an unforgettable BUSH BBQ deep in the African bush. After dinner continue with the Night Drive and overnight in an en suite air-conditioned chalet.

DAY TWO : Early morning departure for the Olifants River where your armed ranger will conduct an exciting 4 h walk in the wild. Enjoy this prolonged opportunity to discover and savour the Bushveld’s secrets on foot. You will get a fantastic opportunity to track Africa’s big animals and approach close enough to take a good photo. Return to Tremisana for brunch. After lunch at 13h30, board the open Landcruiser at 15h00 for a 2h Game Drive. Transfer to Masango where accommodation is in ensuite chalets. Dinner and overnight at Masango.

DAY THREE : Drive to the Orpen Gate of Kruger on a custom-built open-sided Game Viewer. You will have an opportunity to view game without intervening glass windows and also listen to and smell the denizens of the bush. We have regular stops at picnic spots, rest camps and places of interest. The Orpen-Satara-Nwanedzi region’s open plains attract large herds of zebra, giraffe and antelope, that, in turn, attract many predators. In fact this zone has the highest concentration of lions in Africa. Dinner and overnight at Masango.
DAY FOUR : Enjoy another full day of game viewing in the Kruger National Park. Dinner and overnight at Masango.
Bush walk along Klaserie River
DAY FIVE : Early morning game walk with an armed guard to explore the many animals that inhabit Marc’s. After breakfast, we travel to the Three Rondawels of the Blyde River Canyon. We return you to your Johannesburg hotel/hostel or JNB airport at around 17h00.
MASANGO CAMP is on the same property as Marc’s Treehouse Camp. The camp comprises 8 en suite brick and mortar chalets with mosquito nets on all beds. There is a swimming pool, outside Boma and covered lounge/diningroom/ bar area. There is a newly built outside Lapa overlooking a floodlit waterhole where animals come to drink.
