PIERO
General Manager
Piero founded Viva Safaris in 1991. His fluency in Italian allowed Italian travel agencies to support Viva at its inception. A brilliant teacher of Mathematics for over 30 years, he has used his creativity and strong leadership qualities to nurture the company to where it is today. Piero loves the bush and is an exceptionally knowledgeable guide. His specific responsibility is the maintaining of standards and improvement of facilities at Viva's three accommodation establishments. He writes the monthly newsletters and communicates with clients and travel agents.
TREVOR
Operations and Marketing Manager
Trevor joined Viva Safaris in 1993. His previous experience as National Sales Manager in the corporate world was put to excellent effect in marketing the Viva brand. Trevor was crucially instrumental in bringing the attention of travel agents to the exceptional products offered by Viva Safaris. Personable and likeable, Trevor has made many friends in the Travel Industry. He is a qualified tour guide. His specific responsibility is marketing Viva Safaris products and running the Viva Safaris Head Office.
ANTHONY
Good- looking and muscular, Anthony is the travel agents' favourite. His friendly disposition and willingness to please others make him very popular. Anthony assists with marketing, does computer work, relieves the managers at the Cheetah Inn, is a transfer driver/guide and runs Anthony's Place, the company guest apartment in Sandton.
SANDY
Sandy assists with marketing and quality control. She adds the feminine touch to the Lodges and assists with brochure development. She helps the lodge staff in developing tasty food and attractive decor in the rooms. Sandy runs San's Place, a self-catering apartment in Umdloti on Natal's Dolphin Coast.
DELINA
Manageress of Tremisana Lodge
Delina started at Tremisana Lodge as a cleaner/ cook. Her diligence, honesty and loyalty to Viva Safaris were quickly recognized. Today she is Manageress of Tremisana and is respected not only for her obliging manner but is also recognized as the best "soup - maker" in the entire Kruger Park and environs.
RONALD
Manager of Marc's Treehouse Lodge
Like Delina, Ronald has worked his way up to Manager, having been initially employed as a carpenter. Ronald is efficient and competent. The attractive grounds and stunning treehouses testify eloquently to Ronald's creativity. He is well-read and entertains guests at Marc's with great stories told skillfully around the open fire. Ronald speaks fluent Portuguese
MARGARET
Manageress, Cheetah Inn
Margaret started with us as a cleaner and her hard work and loyalty to Viva Safaris has led to her promotion to manageress of Cheetah Inn. Margaret is totally honest, extremely diligent and willing to learn. She sets an excellent example for the rest of her staff in terms of commitment to hard work.
SIDNEY
Full time Mechanic
Sidney has been with the company for over 5 years. His specific responsibilities include checking and servicing each and every vehicle in our fleet. Sidney also assists with transfers and the occasional sunset drive.
PEARL
Hostess
Pearl, at one stage manageress of Cheetah Inn, has been appointed as Hostess at Tremisana Lodge. Her genuine interest in people's well being and her ability to let the guests feel at home have endeared her to all our visitors to Tremisana.
